Sarasota Memorial Day Parade

The City of Sarasota, in partnership with the Sarasota Patriotic Observance Committee, will host the annual Memorial Day Parade in downtown Sarasota.
The parade will step off at the intersection of Main Street and Osprey Avenue, proceeding west to Chaplain J.D. Hamel Park at Main Street and Gulfstream Avenue.
A commemorative ceremony will follow at approximately 11 a.m.
The parade will feature a performance by the Sarasota Military Academy band, along with participation from local law enforcement agencies, first responders, veterans’ groups, community organizations, color guards, and local dignitaries.
Join us as we come together to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Please note: Road closures and no parking zones will be in effect along Main Street in preparation for the parade. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and arrive early to find parking and secure a good viewing spot.
