 he run is a fixture in the running community of Sarasota. Set a fast pace o
 n the hard-packed, world-renowned Siesta Beach sand in the 5K run, sanction
 ed by the Manasota Track Club.  Or, enjoy a leisurely morning stroll along 
 the shore in the 1-mile fun run.    \n\nProceeds benefit “Summer in the Par
 ks” Adopt-A-Camper scholarship fund.\n\nFor more information, including dis
 count codes for youth groups of ten or more, call 311.\n\n• 5K Race is chip
