SUMMARY:Family Nature Journaling
LOCATION:4012 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, Florida 34233
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join us at Urfer Family Park for a guided nature journaling event, where pa
rticipants will learn to observe and record the natural world through drawi
ng and writing. This hands-on program offers a relaxing way to connect with
nature while sharpening observation skills. Nature journaling is both fun
and meaningful, as it deepens your appreciation for wildlife and helps you
notice details that you might otherwise miss. Beginners and experienced jou
rnalers are welcome. All materials will be provided; however, you are welco
me to bring your own journal and additional materials if you wish.

This program is suitable for all ages, but does require periods of susta
ined focus and quiet observation. All participants under the age of 16 must
attend with a parent or guardian.

Participants should bring a w
ater bottle and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. We recommend sun
protection, bug spray, and closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops. You may wish t
o bring binoculars or a camera as well. Restrooms and water fountains are a
vailable on site. You may wish to bring a bag lunch or snack to enjoy at th
e nature center after the program.

This program is provided in p
artnership with the Sarasota County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resource
s Department.

Your gift of $5 or more per person will help us sa
ve wild places and continue to engage people in nature. We greatly apprecia
te your support!
