 vening, you’ll put theory into practice during a guided observing session l
 ed by Planetarium Educators.\n\nWhether you’re a complete novice or looking
  to sharpen your skills, Sky & Scope workshops will provide the knowledge a
 nd support you need to navigate the night sky!\n\nSession One: The Basics o
 f Telescopes and Observational Astronomy\nJoin a Planetarium Educator in th
 e Willis Smith Classroom for an inside look into telescopes with a 2-hour w
 orkshop from 10am-Noon! We’ll cover the basics of glass and mirrors, touch 
 on techniques for navigating the night sky, and explore different types of 
 telescopes. Most importantly, we’ll cover the practical steps to setting up
  and using your own telescope with confidence.\n\n\n\n
