

The Junior League of Manatee County’s Youth non-profit scholarship will be awarded to female seniors. This will be a one-time $1,000 scholarship. This scholarship is designed to recognize local high school seniors who have shown a strong dedication to non-profit causes and community service.
The application criteria is as follows:
- Be a graduating female senior residing in Manatee County
- Hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 (Current official high school transcripts must be attached to the application, along with two letters of recommendation.)
- Demonstrate significant involvement in nonprofit or community service activities
- Not be an immediate relative (child or sibling) of a JLMC active or sustaining member
- Each applicant must attach a 200-500 word essay describing how they have impacted the community through their volunteerism and how their educational goals will further their future community leadership development.
The deadline is January 31, 2026 at 9 pm and the application can be found on our website under the Community tab (JLMC Youth Non-profit Scholarship Program).
