Since 1995, Turning Points has served individuals and families in the community by providing pathways to hope, health, and housing stability. Recognizing that unexpected challenges can impact any family, Turning Points connects individuals with resources and support designed to create stability and improve long-term well-being.
Services for families may include rental and utility assistance, food resources, healthcare connections, benefits assistance (including Medicaid, SNAP, TCA, and unemployment support), crisis navigation, veteran services, and referrals to additional community resources.
Through the Connected Manatee Program, Turning Points partners with select schools in Palmetto to meet families where they are and provide support before challenges become crises. By helping families facing housing instability and other barriers, the program works to strengthen family stability, reduce disruptions for children, and help students remain focused on learning and thriving.
