Florida Flames (formerly Empowered Lacrosse)

The Florida Flames lacrosse program was established to empower girls to find their voice in the world. Our aim is to develop girls’ confidence on and off the field by providing access to all levels of lacrosse and cultivating passion. We strive to introduce lacrosse to communities and support players who endeavor to play recreationally or reach elite levels of play. These are opportunities where girls can grow as people, develop confidence and learn the power of hard work and their own strength – physically and metaphorically.

Our main program takes place during the spring and is open to 1st through 8th graders. We compete in the recreational Florida Gulf Coast Lacrosse League (FGCLL) based in southwest Florida. However, we offer additional programming throughout the year, such as Play days, 7v7 tournaments and clinics. We've been participating in the Reindeer Rumble on an annual basis since our founding in 2021.
