Sarasota Youth Sailing

Sarasota Youth Sailing’s Year Round Racing Program runs during the school year. Sailors as young as eight who have completed Opti Level 2 or an equivalent are welcome to join the team. The seasons run from late August to mid December and mid January to mid May. We typically compete in one regatta a month both locally and statewide. Some fleets will have an option to travel out of state regattas.

Summer Camps -
Annual Summer sailing camps for ages 5+

Homeschool Sailing Program -
Using the RS Zests (and similar boats) this program will teach both beginner and intermediate levels of sailing. Student will learn: Water and boat safety, wind conditions, knot tying, boat rigging, STEM concepts.

Spectrum Sailing Program -
Provides free inclusive sailing opportunities to autistic youth.
