Come to The Bay for an Astronomy event that’s out of this world!

Join Suncoast Stargazers for an “out of this world” experience!
Enjoy an extraordinary night sky featuring a striking first-quarter Moon alongside brilliant views of Jupiter and Saturn.
Guests are invited to bring their own telescopes or view the skies from those on site.
About Suncoast Stargazers

Suncoast Stargazers is a very large, active and knowledgeable astronomy group in the Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice area of the Suncoast dedicated to providing opportunities for cosmological educational outreach offering participants the chance to connect with the universe.

Know Before You Go
-Free parking is located around the site— along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
-Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
-All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
-Please report any risky or unsafe behavior to the Sarasota Non-Emergency Police 24 hours a day (941) 316-1199.
NOTE: In the case of inclement weather or low visibility, this event will be cancelled. Cancellations will be communicated via The Bay website calendar , Eventbrite , Facebook and Instagram up to one hour before start time as unpredictable Florida weather changes quickly.
