Englewood Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Once you’ve shopped ‘til you drop, it’s time to celebrate together as a community! The Englewood Chamber’s Annual Christmas Tree Lighting returns on Thursday, December 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This FREE community event takes place right on the Chamber’s front lawn (the heart of Englewood) where our giant Christmas tree will shine brightly for all to see. The official lighting of the tree will happen at 6:00 p.m., a moment that never fails to bring smiles and a little holiday magic to everyone in attendance.
This year’s celebration will feature something for everyone. Santa Claus himself will make a special appearance to greet the children and take holiday photos. There will be crafts and activities for kids, along with hot chocolate, coffee, and sweet treats to keep everyone warm and cheerful. For the grown-ups, adult beverages will be available, adding an extra dash of holiday spirit to the evening.
One of the most memorable traditions of this event is when the Englewood Fire Department uses their ladder truck to place the angel atop the Christmas tree. This is a breathtaking moment that symbolizes our community’s unity and goodwill. It’s a sight that reminds us all of what makes Englewood such a special place to live, work, and play.
Giving Back: Toy Drive for Englewood Children
The holidays are also a time for giving, and this year the Chamber will be hosting a Toy Drive to bring joy to Englewood children in need. We encourage everyone attending the Tree Lighting to bring a new, unwrapped toy. Your generous donations will help brighten the holidays for local families and ensure that every child in Englewood experiences the magic of Christmas morning.
