Giving Challenge Kickoff - Free Community Day at The Children's Garden!

Join us for a free Community Day at the Sarasota Children’s Garden!
Help us kick off the Giving Challenge with a day of play, exploration, and connection on April 15th, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
We’ll have activities throughout the Garden, including a self-guided scavenger-style experience where you can explore the space while learning more about the Garden’s story, mission, and the work that keeps it going.
What to expect:
- Garden-wide scavenger hunt and interactive stations
- A special story time at noon
- Plenty of space to climb, play, and explore
This is a free event and a great way to experience the Garden, whether it’s your first visit or a place you already love.

This event also marks the start of the Giving Challenge (April 15–16, 12pm-2pm), a 24-hour event hosted by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, where donations are amplified through matching funds.
During the Challenge, all gifts between $25 and $100 are matched by The Patterson Foundation, which means your support can go even further in helping us strengthen and care for the Garden.
