Homeschool Third Thursday at The Ringling

On the third Thursday of the month, join The Ringling for a FREE hands-on learning program, designed for homeschooling families and small groups. During this interactive program, families explore the museum and learn about works of art, how art connects to other subject areas like English/Language Arts, and additional opportunities to try new art techniques. Each program offers content information for students and their adults, discussion questions to ponder as a family, and additional lesson plans/activities to continue the learning at home.
Homeschool Third Thursday’s Fall 2026 theme is Ringling Art Detectives! This semester, families will explore the Museum of Art through observation, geography, close looking, symbolism, and more. This program is a semester-long ticket that includes August, September, October, and November. Families who sign up should plan to attend all 4 programs.

Four time slots available beginning at 10 AM and last one at 11:30 AM (thirty minute increments) Returning families, please note that the 12 p.m. timeslot is no longer offered. We are not serving less families, rather offering more morning openings to ensure everyone has time for art making before the event ends at 1 p.m.
