Welcome to the ultimate weekend of Paddles, Oars, & Pours – Presented by Florida Central Credit Union, featuring the Benderson Chase Regatta! Now entering its second year of celebration, this weekend brings together two massive regional staples: the high-octane athletic tradition of the Benderson Chase regatta, filled with youth rowing, masters, & adult dragon boating races, and the high-spirited energy of the Sarasota Oktoberfest. This event was so popular last year, that we’ve added a second day!
Over the last decade, Nathan Benderson Park has grown from a hidden community gem into a globally recognized, world-class aquatic venue. This October, we are pulling out all the stops for a two-day festival featuring elite rowing, adult dragon boating, authentic German food, live German bands, Beer Garden, DJ, Kids Zone, stein-hoisting grit, and, of course, refreshing cold brews.
Catch the thrill of the Benderson Chase regatta on the lake while quenching your thirst on land. This is a family-friendly event.
