Art Center Sarasota Summer Camps

During each themed week, campers spend their days experimenting with materials, learning about art, and creating original masterpieces to be shown at a mini art show for friends and family on Friday afternoons. Whether you join us for a few weeks or the whole summer, we can’t wait to create with your young artists!

Weekly Sessions:

Week 1: Making Mmm...Masterpieces (Clay Days) | June 8-12
Grab your aprons (and chef hats)! This week is all about deliciously fun, food‑themed art inspired by favorite snacks, treats, and playful design.

Week 2: Lets Get Messy! (Clay Days) | June 15-19
Let the artistic chaos commence! Campers dive into sensory, process‑based art full of splatter, texture, and creative freedom—where the making matters most.

Week 3: Magical Art Academy | June 22-26
Brush up on your art skills (and magic spells) in a world of fantasy filled with enchanted creatures, imaginative worlds, and creative magic.

Week 4: Big, Bright and Bold | June 29-July 3
Dive into art that POPS! Explore artists, styles, and projects that inspire big ideas, bold color, and confident self‑expression.

Week 5: Creative Creatures | July 6-10
Calling all animal lovers! Create art inspired by animals big and small, from the land, sea, sky, and even your imagination.

Week 6: Mad Art Scientists | July 13-17
Creativity meets curiosity! Campers explore color, motion, light, and experimentation through hands‑on, discovery‑driven art projects.

Week 7: Story Worlds: Comics & Creativity | July 20-24
Bring your imagination to life as campers explore visual storytelling through comics, animation, and creative worlds.

Week 8: Art Sprouts | July 27-31
Art is in full bloom this week! Campers create nature‑inspired art while exploring, observing, and celebrating the world around them.
