School of Rock Lakewood Ranch Summer Camp

Do you want to learn how to play in a band or learn to write songs? School of Rock Lakewood Ranch offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops that cover topics such as these. Our local music camps are perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals.

Sessions:

June 3-13, 2025 "Rock 101 Taylor Swift"
Rock 101 camp is for beginners 8-12 years of age. No experience needed. This camp with feature music from the amazing Taylor Swift! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities while learning several Taylor Swift songs.

June 16-20, 2025 "Rock 101 The Beatles"
This camp with feature music from The Beatles! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities while learning classic Beatles songs.

June 23-27, 2025 "Rock 101 Classic Rock"
Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

July 7-11, 2025 and July 14-July 18, 2025 "Rookies"
9:30am-12:30pm $400
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns, and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation.

July 21-25, 2025 "Best of the Nineties"
The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s music camp. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.

July 28-August 1, 2025 "21st Century Rock"
Experience the electrifying sounds of the 21st century with our Modern Rock camp. Join us as we celebrate artists like Foo Fighters, Amy Winehouse, Imagine Dragons, Paramore, and many more. In this rock music camp, students will have the opportunity to learn and perform songs from some of the most popular artists of our time.
Campers will immerse themselves in the music, honing their skills and preparing for a live performance at the end of the week. This camp is perfect for students aged 12-18 with some prior musical instruction.
