Village Community School of Sarasota, The

The Village Community School of Sarasota is a homeschool enrichment program designed in the style of a micro-school (Grades K-9). We provide a supportive environment where enrolled homeschool families can learn together through shared classes, field trips, outdoor play, and hands-on experiences that cultivate real-world skills and a foundation in the Word of God.

VCS offers a unique option for families who want the flexibility of homeschooling while benefiting from a collaborative “village” environment. It serves as a meaningful bridge between traditional homeschooling and a micro-school model.

Our program includes core instruction in Math, Reading, and Writing/Language Arts, along with Foreign Language, Art, and the life skills and extracurricular opportunities that make VCS distinctive. All interested families must complete an Enrollment Packet and participate in an interview with our Director. Interviews may be conducted in person, by phone, or via Zoom.
