

WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY!
Have you ever felt like you had a story to tell? In a world that often tells you to be like everyone else or speak only when spoken to, this is your chance to use your voice and be yourself. The stories will be adjudicated by a panel of three distinguished judges.
Gilbert King: Pulitzer Prize winning author of Devil in the Grove
Gary Donhardt: Retired Director of Institutional Research University of Memphis
Sheila Barnhill: Elementary and middle school teacher from Baker, FL
Who can enter:
Anyone aged 15-25 from Parrish and the surrounding communities.
How to Submit:
• Include name, age, and story title
• Email Submissions to PVN@pcafla.org
• Submissions should be between 500-700 words preferably in Microsoft Word.
• If your work is non-fiction, be sure to include your sources.
Winner and Runner Up Receives:
• Publication in the July issue of Parrish Village News
• Recognition on the Parrish Civic Association website and Facebook page
•Plus additional monetary and gift certificate prizes generously supplied by local businesses.
